Supplying Solutions Worldwide

Parnaby Cyclones designs, manufactures and installs systems and equipment for the washing,
separating, dewatering and recycling of a wide range of materials.
Our equipment is used extensively in coal mining and quarrying. In recent years we have also
developed new systems for separating demolition waste, soil reclamation, dewatering sewage sludge
and recycling of plastics and metals.
We can supply mobile units and easily transportable units for most processes.
We also provide washing, separating, dewatering and recycling services on a contract basis for
customers who do not wish to invest in capital equipment.

Innovation and Quality
The company was started in 1960 by Derek Parnaby who developed the world famous ‘Parnaby Process’ of minerals
separation using barrels and cyclones. In 1974 we started to manufacture the dense medium washing plant which
maximises value from coal mining. During the 1970s and 1980s we developed a comprehensive range of effluent
treatment systems. In the 1990s we began to manufacture mobile units and provide contract services. In
the last 10 years we have been pioneering cost effective systems for recycling as an alternative to landfill.
We manufacture almost all the equipment we supply in our purpose built 20,000 square metre site in North East
England. Parnaby Cyclones achieved the ISO 9001 international quality standard in 1996. All steel used
in our equipment conforms to BS 449.
Parnaby Cyclones is flexible and responsive. We carefully consider each customer’s requirements and then
supply the perfect solution.
